Interactive Surgical Insights, a dynamic educational experience featuring surgeon-narrated procedural videos that guide participants through real surgical cases step-by-step. Unlike traditional we call brianbinars, participants are encouraged to engage throughout the presentation, asking questions in real time as expert clinicians share treatment decisions, graft selection, techniques, outcomes, and lessons learned from these cases. It’s an interactive approach to surgical education that transforms observation into meaningful learning and clinical confidence.

Upon completion of this presentation, participants should be able to:

1. Compare fibrous allografts with other grafting alternatives for our patients.
2. Learn and understand the strengths of these allografts and advantages in their use from the standpoint of clinical results, surgical efficiency, predictability, and improved patient experiences.
3. Witness how fibrous allografts are used in the various regenerative procedures in our daily implant/regenerative practice.

Kanyon Keeney, DDS

Dr. Kanyon Keeney is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon that limits his practice to dental implant surgery and bone grafting. Having performed thousands of implant surgeries, and because of his focus and experience, he is a frequent speaker and educator on these topics locally, nationally, and internationally.

Dr. Keeney obtained a BS from the University of Connecticut, graduated with honors at the Medical College of Virgina, completed an externship in oral surgery at Jackson Memorial/University of Miami and completed his residency in OMFS at the University of Pennsylvania. He has several publications and is frequently involved in research and beta testing of new implant surgery products and techniques. Being seen as an expert in this field, he is frequently asked to treat patients that have significant medical limitations, injuries or previous failed implant surgeries. His experience in bone grafting in preparation for implant surgery brings patients from long distances to be treated. He is a diplomat in the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology, and the Academy of Osseointegration. He is both a Diplomat and Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology. Doctor Keeney is the first OMFS in Virginia to reach Diplomate status in the ABOMS, ICOI, and the Academy of Osseointegration.

Outside of private practice Dr. Keeney is actively involved in various service and philanthropic efforts. He volunteers for and supports many charitable organizations including Good Samaritan Missions, Needles Eye Ministries, the Crossover Clinic, and Haiti Outreach Ministries. He has been heavily involved in overseas medical missions, having served in more than 20 missions in seven different countries including Haiti, Guatemala, Cambodia and others. For more than twenty years he has coached and mentored youth athletes and has served as the athletic director of a large area AAU basketball organization.
